I rearranged some furniture to give ourselves some extra workout space. Could this be considered weight training?
M1 = strawberries, banana, Greek yogurt, granola, honey and green tea
M2 = quinoa, roasted Brussels sprouts, kale, mushrooms and carrots
M3 = apple with Greek yogurt and PB
M4 = basmati rice and butter Marsala with a shredded rotisserie chicken
M5 = almond milk and 2 Samoa cookies
For today’s workout I did 24 minutes of a HIIT workout I made up.
1. Step ups (2-8lb dumbbells)
2. Tricep dips
3. Choppers on the ball
4. One leg deadlifts (2-8lb dumbbells)
5. Chest press and flyes on the ball (same dumbbells)
6. High knees with toes tapping the top of the step
7. Square jumps around a dumbbell
8. Squats with an isolated side leg lift
I didn’t write my scores but I guess I should’ve. Whatevs. Cool down was 10 minutes of yoga, super short because BamBam needed lunch. When Bugs got home from school I played some volleyball with her. I also taught boot camp, so I did some extra exercises there.
Tomorrow is run day. I’m gonna try this routine from Tone It Up.
I’m not sure if I’ll contemplate my awesomeness. Knowing me I’ll be thinking of all the bad things I can eat to undo all the hard work I’ve done running my patootie off.
“Patootie” lol! Nice
